Emoface Play & Learn Emotions is an educational application created for tactile tablets for learning emotions with the help of 3D emotional avatars.

Explore the 6 basic emotions (joy, anger, fear, sadness, surprise, disgust) by going from facial expressions to social contexts.

The application allows you to:

Unravel the various clues on the face.

The learner can then practice identifying, understanding, naming and reproducing facial expressions of emotions.

Emoface is a French company which started as a research spinoff. Emoface offers adapted digital tools, aiming to put technological innovation and design at the service of people with Autistic Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and of any person with socio-emotional difficulties.

The tools developed by Emoface are offered to professionals and families: our mission is to promote social inclusion for all, for a society where everyone has their place.

Developed in close collaboration with more than 600 beta testers, Emoface Play & Learn Emotions is intended for professionals (Psychologists, Neuropsychologists, Speech therapists, Specialized educators, Psychomotor therapists, etc.) and caregivers wishing to work on socio-emotional skills with a person having difficulty recognizing, understanding and imitating emotions.

The project is the result of research in computer science and neurolearning, ergonomic studies, and collaboration with parents, autistic people, and professionals.
It is the result of a technology developed within the University of Grenoble Alpes, based on artificial intelligence algorithms that allow the automatic generation of emotional 3D animations.
