• Fixed a bug that caused the app to inadvertently request a ‘read phone state’ permission (which was not necessary) in the previous release from July 3, 2018. (That means the app would ask for permission for device info such as when a phone call was active.). The app should no longer request this permission.

We’ve improved Closings to make it easier for you.
You can now receive push notifications when your favorite organizations are closed or delayed. Closings and delays for your favorite organizations show up at the top of the list, so you can check their status at a glance.
Favorite one organization for FREE, or favorite multiple organizations with a Premium subscription (in-app purchase required).
We’ve also added performance improvements and squashed a few minor bugs.

Except linked content in a web-view, the subscription, which auto-renews monthly, removes all in-app ads, including pre-roll video. Thanks for supporting local journalism! - Save stories. Tap the "bookmark" icon on story screens to save a story to read for later. Find your saved stories in the "Sections" tab.
