Deprecated feature: • Starting with this release, the VIP Access app does not support the Proximity feature. If you have already paired your device using Proximity, it will continue to work until you unpair.
This update has the following new features: • VIP Access Proximity feature that securely locks and unlocks your computer with your mobile device. • Capability to send push notification from mobile device to a paired computer using proximity.
· Credential ID change reported on few mobile devices has been addressed. · Fixed an issue that reports 3001 error code. If you have encountered the 3001 error code, we recommend to uninstall the VIP Access software, download and install the latest VIP Access 4.0.1 version from Play Store, and re-register your credential.

Critical Security Update: This release updates VIP Access for Android to the SHA-2 cryptographic algorithm. Symantec recommends that that you update VIP Access for greater security and to ensure continued functionality.
